Connector Authentication

Connector Authentication

Self-serve connectors use two directions of authentication.

Knova calling your connector

Knova sends a bearer token in the Authorization header of every request:

Authorization: Bearer <token>

Your connector should check the token and return 401 if it's missing or wrong.

Your connector sending events to Knova

Events your connector pushes to Knova are signed so Knova can verify they came from your connector. See Events and webhooks.

Setup

You configure your connector with the base URL of your Knova deployment. Credentials are provisioned per deployment. Ask your Knova contact how to obtain and rotate them.
